Pool Heater Installation Guidelines

Pool Heater Installation Guidelines

Here are our guidelines for propane tank installations used for pool heaters. Do you know…

  1. if your pool will be an above or in-ground pool?
  2. where you want the propane tank(s) installed on your property? What type of tank would you prefer (above or underground)?Keep in mind that the actual location of propane tanks is determined by code restrictions, so pick out more than one location prior to a visit by a member of our Sales Team.
Select this link if you would like to read more about our general tank installation information. There are some limitations about where tanks may be installed on your property.
  3. What is the BTU input of your pool heater?
(This information is available from your pool contractor.) Our Sales Team will determine what size tank(s) are required for your pool heater installation. All pool heaters have a BTU input and a BTU output rating. The closer these numbers are to each other, the higher the efficiency of the heater.

Call our office to request a free site estimate by calling 845-452-8400.

You will be provided with a written estimate and diagram of when, where, how, and how much your pool heater installation will cost. We try to work closely with pool contractors during the installation of your pool heating system.

Rest assured that the propane system installed for your pool heater will conform to the installation standards of NFPA 58 (LP Gas Code), and codes and standards required by the Local Authority Having Jurisdiction. You and your family’s safety is our number 1 priority.

We also service pool heaters!

Be sure to ask our CSRs about our “before” and “after” pool season service program.
